Buffet Crampon acquires Bergerault
Bergerault, a manufacturer and seller of percussion instruments, is joining the Buffet Crampon group.

Bergerault, a manufacturer and seller of percussion instruments, is joining the Buffet Crampon group. The family company, founded in 1932 by Albert Bergerault, is currently owned and managed by the third generation of the family. The aim of the deal is to pass on the company's expertise while retaining the teams and management for integration into the group. ‘We are delighted to be able to offer Bergerault this succession solution, while at the same time combining it with our development strategy,’ says Jérôme Perrod, Chairman of Buffet Crampon.
Founded in 1825 by French luthier Denis Buffet-Auger, the group already has 12 brands for more than 400 models of wind instruments created at 6 production sites: Antoine Courtois, B&S, Besson, Buffet Crampon, Hans Hoyer, J. Scherzer, Julius Keilwerth, Melton Meinl Weston, Parmenon, Rigoutat, Verne Q. Powell, W. Schreiber.
