Concert on 14 July in Paris: New Location Revealed

Unlike previous years, the big concert on 14 July will not be taking place under the Eiffel Tower this year due to the Paris Olympic Games.

According to an announcement on its Instagram account, C Major Entertainment, the producer of the concert, has revealed that this year's event will be held in front of City Hall instead. This change is due to the preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Twelve days before the opening of the Games, the Olympic flame will make a stop at the Paris City Hall building on the evening of 14 July before continuing its tour through the districts of Paris and the suburbs the following day.

Stellar Lineup: Khatia Buniatishvili, Lang Lang, and the Capuçon Brothers

Although the full musical programme, which will start at 9pm, has not yet been disclosed, the event promises an exceptional lineup of artists. The concert will feature two renowned pianists: Khatia Buniatishvili and the famous Chinese pianist Lang Lang. The Capuçon brothers, Gautier (cello) and Renaud (violin), will also perform together. Additionally, the concert will showcase some of the great voices of the opera scene, including sopranos Nadine Sierra (USA) and Gaëlle Arquez, and the Samoan tenor Pene Pati.

These talented artists will be accompanied by the Orchestre National de France, conducted by its musical director Cristian Macelaru, along with the Radio France choir.
