The partnership will provide products for the organisation’s wigs, hair and make-up department. According to the announcement, the products were selected to meet the demands of stage performance.

A public programme beginning in November will offer audiences a closer look at the preparation behind a production. The limited-run experience, titled You’re Worth It: Beauty, Ballet and Behind the Scenes, will explore backstage spaces and the routines and craftsmanship that support dancers from rehearsal to performance.

Developed through conversations with Royal Ballet dancers, the tour concludes with afternoon tea in the Paul Hamlyn Hall and a gift from L’Oréal Paris. Tickets cost £100, with a £115 sparkling option.

Núñez welcomed the opportunity to bring the worlds of ballet and beauty together. Representatives of both organisations emphasised artistic expression, confidence and the work of backstage specialists.

Further experiences and collaborative content are planned throughout the season, extending the partnership beyond product support and giving audiences additional ways to encounter the people and processes behind performances at Covent Garden.
