Trio Azura emerged victorious at the 2024 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition

Trio Azura emerged victorious at the 2024 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, receiving $22,500 and performance engagements. The competition, held at the University of Notre Dame, featured two divisions: senior and junior. Trio Azura, based in Los Angeles, won the senior string division and the Lift Every Voice Prize. The Oslo-based Saphir Quartet took gold in the junior division. Established in 1973, the Fischoff competition aims to promote chamber music among young musicians and is the largest in the US.
