Barbara Berlusconi to Join La Scala’s Board of Directors

According to ANSA, the Lombardy Region will nominate Barbara Berlusconi as its representative on the Board of Directors of La Scala. Following the board’s renewal, the new members are expected to take office on February 17.

Barbara Berlusconi, the third daughter of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, will replace Nazzareno Carusi, who was appointed in 2020. At the time of his appointment, Carusi was serving as the Head of Culture for Forza Italia.
