II International Rachmaninoff Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors Closes Applications

The application process for the II International Rachmaninoff Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors has officially closed.

This year, the competition received a total of 532 applications from 25 countries worldwide. Participants come from Russia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Brazil, Germany, Georgia, Jordan, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Romania, the United States, Uzbekistan, Sweden, South Korea, and Japan.

After reviewing the application materials, the jury will conduct an online selection process based on the video submissions. Based on the results, 25 pianists, 12 composers, and 25 conductors will be invited to participate in the main competition.

The II International Rachmaninoff Competition for Pianists, Composers, and Conductors will take place from June 14 to 26, 2025, with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The competition will be held in Moscow at the Great and Small Halls of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, and Philharmonia-2.
