The Ravinia Festival in Highland Park is undergoing a multi-year, $75 million transformation ahead of its 125th anniversary in 2029.

Phase one, already underway, includes a complete renovation of the 3,500-seat pavilion with a new stage, seating, lighting, and state-of-the-art acoustics, set for completion in 2026. The project is funded by the Setting the Stages campaign, with $10 million from the Hunter Family Foundation and $21 million from the Negaunee Foundation.

Other venue upgrades will follow, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra set to inaugurate the new pavilion in 2026.
