Bangkok Royal Symphony Orchestra to Perform in Moscow

The Bangkok Royal Symphony Orchestra will give a concert in Moscow on April 4 at the Zaryadye Concert Hall, featuring iconic works composed by King Rama IX Bhumibol Adulyadej and other members of the Thai royal family.

The performance is part of the Russia-Thailand Year of Cultural Exchanges and Tourism, supported by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Russia-Thailand Business Council. “Cultural dialogue is as vital as strong economic ties. Beautiful music allows people to understand each other beyond words,” said Ivan Demchenko, Chairman of the Russia-Thailand Business Council.

Founded in 1982 under the patronage of then-Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn (now King Rama X), the orchestra has been under the patronage of Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya since 2018.
