Chicago Symphony Orchestra receives $10 million from TAWANI Foundation

The TAWANI Foundation, led by CSOA board member Col. Jennifer N. Pritzker, has pledged a multiyear, $10 million gift to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association (CSOA). This donation supports the CSOA's $175 million fundraising campaign, which aims to boost the endowment fund, reduce debt, and fully fund the musicians' pension plan. The gift includes a $5 million challenge grant. CSOA president Jeff Alexander expressed gratitude, highlighting the gift's impact on the organization's financial stability, musical excellence, and educational and community programs.
