Marc Albrecht Appointed Chief Conductor of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra

Starting in September 2026, German conductor Marc Albrecht, 61, will take up the position of Chief Conductor of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. Ahead of his official tenure, he will appear with the orchestra in a series of concerts in the spring of 2026, offering Antwerp audiences an early glimpse of their future collaboration.

Albrecht currently holds no permanent post but remains highly active as a guest conductor, regularly leading performances in major concert halls and opera houses worldwide.
