Kossenko denies the allegations, asserting through his lawyer that he has “never sexually assaulted anyone.” Despite this, he has withdrawn from upcoming engagements, including a production of Don Giovanni at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, where Mathieu Romano will replace him.
The Fédération des ensembles vocaux et instrumentaux spécialisés (Fevis) expressed caution, citing the absence of a confession or conviction. Fevis reiterated its commitment to supporting victims and condemning violence, while initiating protocols with Les Ambassadeurs, the ensemble Kossenko directs.
