Netflix Reveals Poster to Maria Callas Biopic ‘Maria'

Netflix has unveiled the official poster for the upcoming Maria Callas biopic "Maria." The film, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and later screened at Telluride, Toronto, and New York Film Festivals, stars Angelina Jolie as the legendary soprano, alongside Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alba Rohrwacher, Pierfrancesco Favino, and Valeria Golino.

Directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Steven Knight, "Maria" marks the final installment of Larraín's trilogy, which includes "Jackie," about Jackie Kennedy, and "Spencer," about Princess Diana."Maria" portrays the final week of Callas' life, exploring her struggle with the tension between her public image and private self, as she grapples with the blurred boundaries between the iconic "La Divina" and the vulnerable human being beneath.
