The concert complex in Sirius is scheduled to open in June 2025

The concert complex in the federal territory of Sirius is set to open in June 2025, according to Elena Shmeleva, chairwoman of the Sirius Federal Territory Council and head of the Talent and Success Foundation. Speaking at the 10th St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures, Shmeleva said, "All construction work will be completed in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning to follow. We hope to open with either our traditional spring festival or a major summer event in June."

Construction of the world-class concert complex began in 2020. Designed by Andrey Litvinov, the building will become the cultural hub of Sirius, attracting professional musicians, youth groups, and art lovers. Covering an area of more than 48,900 square meters, the complex will feature two state-of-the-art halls with unique acoustics, designed by renowned acoustic consultant Yasuhisa Toyota. His previous work includes the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Richard Fisher Center for the Arts in New York.

The complex, standing 51 meters tall with 11 floors, will house a 1,200-seat Main Hall and a smaller chamber hall. The Main Hall, with specialized acoustic panels, can be transformed into either a philharmonic or theatre space, thanks to moveable orchestra shells and advanced audiovisual systems. The smaller hall will cater to chamber music, and an organ will be installed. The building also includes rehearsal spaces, lounges, and a 1,700-square-meter lobby, which can serve as a museum and exhibition space.

In addition to the concert complex, a Design Quarter will be developed on the site, featuring art residences, workshops, and design centers.
