Bolshoi Theatre to sell only personalised tickets to avoid speculation

The Bolshoi Theatre has announced that, starting from October 1, 2024, it will only sell personalized tickets in order to combat ticket speculation. Patrons will be required to present an identity document when purchasing tickets, and their personal information will be recorded on the ticket itself. According to the theatre's statement, this measure is being implemented to prevent ticket speculation and is a necessary change to their ticket sales policy.

The Bolshoi Theatre emphasized that personalized tickets can only be used for entry if accompanied by the corresponding identity documents. If the information on the ticket does not match the data on the presented identification, the theatre will not permit the ticket holder to attend the performance.
